West Coast Vibes

This month, I've been all about the easy, laid-back West Coast vibes. I mean why not?!?
California: the carefree attitude, artsy atmosphere, desert landscape and bright blue waters, I'll take it all! It's the last day of May, which means Summer's almost here! And if you're like me, chances are you're daydreaming about packing up, hitting the beach and basking in the sun! Whether you're going to a sunny coast of some place fabulous or lounging by the pool, make sure to bring some of this season's wardrobe essentials to look on point and make summer lasts forever - denim cutoffs, flowy maxi skirts, printed crop tops, and bright accessories. Aside from eating coconut or strawberry popsicles, we all know the best part of the beach is taking home sweet tan lines and easy breezy mermaid hair! Sadly, we can't all sit on the beach 24/7 to keep sun kissed skin and salty waves, so make sure to soak it all up while you can!

Casual Craze

America: land of the tee and home of the casual craze. We in the US of A have always been more inclined to incorporate sneakers, denim, and sports wear into our street style and the most sartorially savvy American girls love beloved homegrown labels. These ultra-informal items can be just as much about an intentionally unceremonious look as they are about comfort and utilitarianism. Across the nation sleek athletic shoes are being paired with high-end pieces, as I did below. Classic Chuck Converse go well with anything, so I paired them with my Nasty Gal plaid skort and Sparkle and Fade Black Tee Crop Top. The trend has now gained international traction, but I'm glad to keep it casual anytime! These days, there's nothing better than casual clothes, street tacos and urban art in North Park when these Santa Anas bring 94 degree weather from Baja!

P.S. I swear the water was the clearest and tealest I've ever seen it yesterday!
