San Francisco: Outside Lands

There's just something about San Francisco. It's in the air, a certain sense of energy, love and spirit. The city spills over with vitality and personality, freedom and style. My third time to San Fran, Greg's second, and our first time to Outside Lands was nothing short of spectacular! Since we got all the tourist stuff out of the way our previous time here, we got to enjoy the Golden Gate city from a different perspective! We strolled through stores on Market Street, went coffee shop hopping to the coolest cafes, thrifted on Haight Street, ate potato pizza and enjoyed bum drums on hippie hill!

Outside Lands is unlike any festival I've ever been to, there's no overnight camping and instead of spending my entire time at the EDM stage, I got to enjoy a wide range of music. Being able to sample tons of local wines at Wine Land is a Northern California must! Thank God for the lack of crop tops, flower crowns and fringe! You won't be finding that here. Functional layered clothing comes with cooler weather, which makes for even cooler festival style! Jewelry and accessories are kept to a minimum, but oh so artistic and detailed. Outside Lands was definitely a breath of fresh air, fashionably and also quite literally... hello fog and forest scenery!

"San Francisco itself is art. Every block is a short story, every hill a novel. Every home a poem, every dweller within immortal" -William Saroyan
