Chasing Waterfalls

I wouldn't necessarily take the advice of TLC, "don't go chasing waterfalls," because we found a spectacular gem yesterday hidden amongst the city. There's nothing like a good urban legend to fuel the imagination, and this could be one of San Diego's best kept secrets.

Adobe Falls, easily accessible but virtually unseen by anyone, tumbles down a narrow little gorge, forming a series of cascades, and the scores of surrounding graffiti add an interesting urban touch. Although some believe the sights are not those of pristine natural preserve, the incongruity of this place makes for a very intriguing experience. Rock hop your way to the top of the falls while exploring different pools and works of art. Talk about an enduring off the beaten path hidden treasure. 

Every city has its own unique and interesting places that might be unknown to the population at large, but are all well worth discovering. Take the challenge! Like I always say, never stop wandering.

Something extra sweet in the fashion world has totally caught my eye! Bright bold fruity prints are covering clothes this summer and I'm anxious to get my hands on all these deliciously adorable pieces! I know these prints can be intimidating, but during the summer months, adding fruit into your look is the perfect way to spice things up, or should I say sweeten?! 

In order to pull the look off without looking a little crazy, tone down any juicy outfit with a basic, like my white cropped tee, or simple accessories. Black and White

When my world gets out of control and I become a little mad hatter, there's something so comforting about the simplicity of black and white. Not only are these opposing colors modern and neat, they always manage to make any outfit look sharp! There's a definite feminine vibe from these gloriously decadent neutrals, but they're also wearable with functionality! Adding a little black and white to your closet is the perfect way to reset your wardrobe while instantly looking chic without having to try!
