Chasing Waterfalls

I wouldn't necessarily take the advice of TLC, "don't go chasing waterfalls," because we found a spectacular gem yesterday hidden amongst the city. There's nothing like a good urban legend to fuel the imagination, and this could be one of San Diego's best kept secrets.

Adobe Falls, easily accessible but virtually unseen by anyone, tumbles down a narrow little gorge, forming a series of cascades, and the scores of surrounding graffiti add an interesting urban touch. Although some believe the sights are not those of pristine natural preserve, the incongruity of this place makes for a very intriguing experience. Rock hop your way to the top of the falls while exploring different pools and works of art. Talk about an enduring off the beaten path hidden treasure. 

Every city has its own unique and interesting places that might be unknown to the population at large, but are all well worth discovering. Take the challenge! Like I always say, never stop wandering.
