First off I just want to say I can't believe it's March already!!!
As always, this year is flying by! And now that March has arrived that only means one thing... it's almost April, which means it's almost Spring!
Although you may think just because I live in Maui I get to experience great weather year round, this is probably true 90% of the time. But I must say we've been getting a lot of rain lately! I mean it is an island with hundreds of different ecosystems and the rain forests and jungles can't survive without rain! But as much as I love the rain here, I love the sunshine even more! I swear I can already hear the birds chirping louder!
My favorite part about Spring is the sudden growth of plumerias around the island! I'm pretty sure I've talked about these beautiful and beautifully fragrant little flowers numerous times, but seriously they bring so much color and sweet scents to Maui! I'm quite obsessed with picking them up and floating them in a bowl of water around my house.
Soon, flowers will be popping up around parks, gardens, neighborhoods as well as on our clothes! I love seeing floral prints on clean and simple pieces like the Free People Slip Dress I'm wearing below. It's dresses like this that scream "BRING ON SPRING!"
