Last week, my boyfriend took me to Chicago for the first time, where he lived for 5 years right out of college. Coming from San Diego, where it doesn't usually get below 50 degrees, I wasn't even close to being prepared for the cold Midwest winter weather. Good thing for layers! I threw on this Forever 21 star sweater under my black leather bomber jacket and hit Michigan Boulevard for some of the best shopping in Chi-Town! But don't get it twisted, this isn't your average baby sister's little pink sweater. I chic'd it up with my over sized black felt hat, wine colored skinny jeans and a pair of super comfy buckled booties for an entire day of walking around the windy city!
